Contribution Rules
Our Shared Vision PC is a Florida Political Committee registered with the Florida Division of Elections. We are committed to full compliance with Florida campaign finance law (Chapter 106, Florida Statutes). Please read the following rules before contributing.
Who May Contribute
Contributions may be made by U.S. citizens; lawfully admitted permanent residents (green card holders); and corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and other legal entities organized under U.S. law. All contributions must be made from the contributor's own personal or entity funds. Making a contribution in the name of another person or entity is prohibited.
Who May NOT Contribute
We cannot accept contributions from foreign nationals (individuals who are not U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted permanent residents); foreign corporations or entities with a majority foreign ownership; or any person contributing funds belonging to someone else (conduit contributions).
Contribution Limits
Our Shared Vision PC is a Florida Political Committee. Under Florida law (Section 106.08, Florida Statutes), individual and entity contribution limits apply based on the type of election and committee activity. Required Disclosure Information
Florida law requires us to collect and publicly report the following information for all contributions: the contributor's full name and mailing address. For contributions exceeding $100, we are also required to report the contributor's occupation and employer. This information is reported to the Florida Division of Elections and becomes part of the public record. By contributing, you acknowledge and consent to this disclosure.
Online Contributions
Online contributions are processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Anedot. By contributing online, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information and certify that your contribution complies with these rules. You authorize us to collect and report your information as required by Florida law.
Tax Deductibility
Contributions to Our Shared Vision PC are political contributions and are NOT tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal or state income tax purposes.
Refund Policy
All contributions are considered final upon receipt. If you believe an error has been made with respect to your contribution, please contact us promptly at info@oursharedvisionpac.org or in writing at the address below. We will review the matter and respond in accordance with applicable law.
Certification
By making a contribution, you certify that: (1) you are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident, or a legally organized U.S. entity; (2) this contribution is made from your own funds and not those of another person or entity; (3) you are not a foreign national prohibited from making contributions; and (4) you have read and agree to these contribution rules.
